"When I finally decided it was time to buy an engagement ring, I began reading about diamonds and how to pick out the good and the bad. I went beyond the 4 C's that you always read about, and looked into things such as table percentage, symmetry, polish, etc. I went to several jewelry stores here in Oklahoma City. I talked in person to several of the owner's, telling them exactly what I was looking for.

Surprisingly, I was shown diamonds that were nowhere near the quality that the owner's were claiming. There were a couple of places that did have diamonds that held up to the claim of the owner, however, the price was way too high. I then turned to the web, searching through several sites, and finally came across 'Diamondtrade.com'. I found a semi-mount and some diamonds on their site that caught my interest. Unfortunately, I had not done much buying over the Internet and was a bit uncomfortable investing in a diamond and ring that I had never seen. I talked with Ms. Mignon about what I had found on their site and she turned all my uneasiness into excitement! I knew that she was just as excited and motivated about getting me exactly what I wanted, as I was. I have to compliment her on going out of her way to find me the diamond of my choice. Not only that, but also one that was better, GIA certified, and for an unbeatable price. Ms. Mignon gave me complete confidence in Diamondtrade. She even went out of her way to make sure the ring arrived on the following Saturday morning!

Upon opening the package, the ring was breathtaking. (Yes, I'm a guy, and I said breathtaking....) It was gorgeous! However, being the analytical person that I am, I inspected the ring under my father's microscope. Everything was exactly as Ms. Mignon had claimed. I have never been more comfortable, pleased, and satisfied with a purchase of this size in my life! A big thanks to Jeannie Mignon and Diamondtrade for everything! My fianc� and I had shopped extensively before we discovered DiamondTrade and started working with David Emmett. We consider ourselves to be well-informed consumers; we educated ourselves about diamonds by doing research and by visiting area jewelers for several months. When I took on the task of searching for that perfect diamond for my fianc�, I was immediately challenged by a number of issues. First and foremost, in my case, was finding the time to devote to finding the diamond that met each of my preferences and price range. I have been working out of town for some time, and while I was able to do some independent research and determine the type of diamond that I preferred, the time that I had to browse the countless jewelers at home was limited. Second, I did not have the time to give each individual jeweler the chance to show his/her inventory. Rather, I had already determined my preferences, and simply wanted to find the diamond. Finally, when I was able to find a limited amount of time, I was not always satisfied with the selection that I found at the diamond and jewelry sellers. I had a specific type of diamond in mind--one that many jewelers either did not specifically have in stock or could not offer me within my price range.

Encountered with these obstacles, I turned to an Internet search engine to find a diamond store that was near my area of work (out of town), where I would have more time to browse the shelves and inventory. I thought that this was the approach that I wanted to take. During that search, however, I also found DiamondTrade.com. I began to explore the site and discovered that it was clearly a different kind of jeweler website. While such certification was not a primary preference of mine, it offered a significant degree of reassurance and confidence in the product that I was considering. Second, but perhaps most important, the site offered a tool to specify the type of diamond that I wanted to purchase. A list of diamonds was output, each having met (or very near) each of my specifications. This tool was exactly what I needed--it produced a list of certified diamonds that met my needs, without the hassle of going to a showroom and waiting for a clerk to shuffle through a limited inventory of diamonds that may or may not have met my preferences. After printing the list, I contacted DiamondTrade.com.

I was greeted with superb service, and Danny Morehead showed me a fine selection of diamonds (using the list that my Internet search had produced) that met each of my specifications, including the price. In that selection, I found the diamond and purchased it from DiamondTrade.com. The diamond was exactly what I wanted, GIA certified and met my budget needs. Truly, I walked away very satisfied. In sum, it was a great experience.

First of all I would like to thank you again for assisting me in finding the perfect diamond. Well Saturday was the big day and I am so glad it is over with. For something I was so sure about, I really was nervous but it went off perfectly. My new fiancee was completely surprised and I think I wouldn't have it any other way. I picked her up for dinner on Saturday and on the way we stopped off to take a little walk on the canals of Las Colinas and ended up sitting on a park bench behind the Omni Mandalay Hotel amongst green grass and blooming flowers.
