Worth metroplex by the Dallas Business Journal for the year 2000 Pacesetters award. The recognition was announced at a dinner at the Westin Galleria, September 28, 2000.
DiamondTrade is one of the pioneers in selling fine diamonds on the Internet. The company was formed as a limited liability company June 1, 1999. For the 12 months ended May 31, 2000, sales increased by 89.09% over the previous comparable period. DiamondTrade's website features fine diamonds accompanied by a Diamond Grading Report which authenticates the quality of each diamond offered. In addition each diamond sold is verified by a Sarin report and is often laser inscribed with the certificate number that further validates the authenticity of the diamond for the protection of the customer.
Danny Morehead accepted the award on behalf of DiamondTrade.com. Mr. Morehead spent much of his career with Zale Corporation in its loose diamond division that sold diamonds for investment.
